Action Exercise #1
When we went to the dance studio to photograph the dance class, it was hard to get the right lighting and capture the moment at the same time. The camera can take many photos in a short time but the flash reacts much slower. To get the "right" photograph includes keeping time with the dancer, and knowing the reaction time of the shutter and flash. If all of this is done correctly the photo will turn out with great movement and space.

What a perfect stop motion picture Audrey! it looks amazing from the angle you took it at! and changing the photo to black and white works so well!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition and value! I like the angle you took the picture at and how you can see their reflections in the mirror:)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo Audrey! I like how there is a sense of line, and the value is really great. Great composition, also. Great work! [:
ReplyDeleteGreat job freezing the motion. I feel a pending sense of movement.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you have not only captured the one person in motion but several others, it gives the picture character.
ReplyDeleteI like the angle this is taken at. Seeing the back of the dancers staring at the mirror to themselves make it kinda personal.
ReplyDeleteI like how you caught each person in the same motion and in the mirror you can see more of the girls in the same pose
ReplyDeleteI really like how you were able to change the lighting in this photo. Good way to capture the picture in the mirror. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI really like the angle you got the photo in because it clearly shows the reflection in the mirror.
